GOUT
It is sometimes referred to as the “disease of kings.
The excess levels of Uric acid in the body can result in Hyperuricemia or a medical condition called Gout. This would cause accumulation of uric acid in cartilages in the joint leading to painful inflammations.
Men are more likely to get Gout, but women become increasingly susceptible to Gout after menopause.
TREATMENT
•Blood letting using leech or venupuncture is important in this treatment.
